Since 1999, I have trained hundreds of couples in Marie Mongan's HypnoBirthing techniques to prepare for childbirth. I also work with moms-to-be in conceiving or navigating the IVF journey. I have also developed an exact process to help second-time moms release baggage from their previous birth experience.
Hypnotherapy is very effective for addressing trauma because it works on the level at which the trauma exists; the subconscious mind. By relaxing the body, and using hypnotic suggestions, you can get to a level that is deeper than the trauma itself, and from that place, it can be easily released.
As far as I'm concerned, if the mind is participating in a problem, it can participate in the solution, so I'm game to work on just about any issue that a client presents. I have lots of experience with self-esteem issues, phobias and helping the body to heal itself. I also created a whole program called Self-Hypnosis for Actors. However, I do NOT work on eating disorders or other addictions unless the client is also working an active recovery program.
